  NATIONAL UNION PARTY MANIFESTO   This report will provide an overview of (Group 5, Sub-group C's) task to write a campaign speech on behalf of the National Union Party, for the flag bearer elect towards the party's campaign launch. The National Child Care insurance (Me Ba Ho Hia Policy) was taken up in order to curb the high mortality rate amongst children in Ghana. Child mortality continues to be a major public health problem in Ghana especially. In the northern parts of the country where poverty and general standards of living are comparatively worse, have been reported to register some of the highest mortality rates in Africa. In 2019, child mortality rate for Ghana was 46.2 deaths per 1,000 live births. Child mortality rate of Ghana fell gradually from 202.3 deaths per 1,000 live births in 1970 to 46.2 deaths per 1,000 live births in 2019.
